About Me

Hello there! I am a senior at Duke University double-majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering. I love tinkering with electronics and hardware in my free time. Outside of class, you'll find me in the theater building sets for musicals, on stage performing with the Duke Irish dance team, in Krzyzewskiville organizing the Cameron Crazies for Duke basketball, or in the lab doing engineering projects with young girls to encourage them to consider careers in engineering.

    Manufacturing Engineering Intern

    This is my second summer interning with Endologix in Irvine, California. I have designed three new fixtures for use in device production that allowed for greater consistency and control over process parameters for a Class III medical device. I also write test protocols and reports to qualify changes to existing processes and equipment, and I redesigned the layout of the manufacturing facility to increase production space efficiency by nearly 50%.

    Chief Programming Officer

    Girls Engineering Change is a registered non-profit founded by Duke students. We encourage young girls to consider how they can solve problems – from major world issues to things in their everyday lives – using engineering tools. I develop projects for one-day mentorship sessions to motivate more than 100 young girls to consider careers in engineering and science.

    I run the laboratory section for the "Fundamentals of Electrical and Computer Engineering" course at Duke University, using a hands-on approach to teaching the basics of circuit design.

    VP of Communication

    As a Line Monitor for Duke basketball, I help ensure the safety of Krzyzewskiville and the 1200-person student section of Cameron Indoor Stadium. I personally manage and maintain accountability amongst a team of 25 student leaders. Look for me painted in blue in the front row of Duke men's basketball games!

    I completed the curriculum for the International Baccalaureate diploma, passing a plethora of AP and IB exams along the way.
